Jim and Lucy Fisher’s warm hospitality is second to none, and there are many flexible options for you to choose from according to your group size and preferences.
Cook and Dine
One of our most popular experiences is our cook and dine option. For this memorable experience, your team will learn how to create a delicious two course meal – the menu of which will have been agreed with you prior to the event according to preferences and can be traditional or not depending on your tastes. Expert tuition / assistance will be provided by Jim Fisher, Head Chef / Tutor and co- owner of Exeter Cookery School. The cookery school will be bedecked in all its festive finery complete with stunning Christmas tree from Cotley Farm and Christmas crackers on the table for dinner.
Our private dining options can be as fine dining or rustic as you desire. We can offer buffet served meals for groups of over 20, or table service for Christmas Party bookings of up to 20 guests. Options range from slow-roasted shoulder of lamb with spiced couscous to traditional turkey lunch or dinner with all the trimmings.
Our beautiful waterside venue is the ideal option for businesses wishing to host a festive canapé event for staff or client Christmas parties. Jim Fisher has gained a justifiably excellent reputation for creating some of the most delicious canapés, with each mouthful packed with flavour… with our duck confit croquettes gaining quite the following on Exeter’s social scene. We have provided canapés for the likes of Exeter Living, Ashfords Solicitors, Kitsons Exeter, YMCA and Thermalogica.
Wine / Alcoholic Beverages
As a fully licensed venue, we can supply a range of wine / drinks options to accompany the meal or Christmas event, or if you wish to bring your own beverages we would charge a corkage fee.
