HALF DAY COURSE (9:30am - 12:00pm or 2:00pm - 4:30pm)

On your hands-on half day Indian cookery course, taught by our Indian cookery tutor, Nila Ross-Patel, you will learn how to cook some delicious authentic vegetarian dishes.


Inspired by her mother's home cooking, Nila will teach you classic Indian cooking techniques handed down through generations of Gujarati home cooks.


Patiently taking you through every process, from dry-frying and grinding your own spices to making delicious sauces, Nila will impart her many years of experience as she guides and encourages you to create a vegetarian feast for the taste buds.


At the end of the morning or afternoon, you'll take away all the dishes you've made during the course, as well as lots of knowledge and confidence to cook authentic Indian food for family and friends.

  • Dry frying spices
  • Spicing
  • Cooking with eggs
  • Making flat bread
  • Creating a chickpea dahl
  • Making a dipping sauce
