Perfect for budding cooks between the ages of 15 and 17, the one day teen cookery course at Exeter Cookery School will teach Masterchefs-in-the-making how to cook a range of delicious recipes from scratch.
Say no to ready meals full of sugar, salt and assorted additives… we will show you how you can cook some great dishes using fresh ingredients with delicious results.
On this fun, hands-on cookery course, not only will participants learn about bread baking, soup making, puff pastry and chocolate cookery, they will also gain the confidence to recreate a delicious three course meal at home for friends and family.
Cooking with Confidence
Keen teen cooks can learn how to create a flavour-filled stock, which they will use to prepare a delicious minestrone soup, and will learn how to bake bread rolls from scratch to accompany the soup. They will then learn how to prepare and cook salmon en croute, using a quick puff pastry, and will finish off the course by learning how to create perfect results with the ever popular chocolate fondant.
As well as learning how to cook these dishes, participants will learn some key baking and cooking essentials that will inspire young cooks and ignite their passion for flavour and cooking from scratch.
