On this half day puddings course, you’ll be making two classic puddings which you can then take home to share with family and friends.


We’ll show you how to get the best from the ingredients and make sure you cook them to restaurant-quality perfection!


Learn to make a comforting Bread & Butter Pudding and a classic Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Techniques learnt:

  • All-in-one sponge cake batter
  • Judging the correct consistency
  • Greasing and lining baking tins
  • Baking sticky toffee pudding
  • Making a sticky toffee sauce
  • Making a proper custard
  • Choosing the right bread for bread & butter pudding
  • Baking puddings
  • Testing for 'doneness'
  • Storing, freezing and defrosting techniques

You will make:

  • Bread & Butter Pudding
  • Sticky Toffee Pudding with Sticky Toffee Sauce
